At the beginning of September, we achieved a major milestone by launching our new spot exchange. For 6 months, the platform was in beta and we actively gathered feedback from the community in order to offer you a premium trading platform that is stable, performant, visually pleasing, and easy to use.

With the new exchange now active, we are reaching out again to you and the entire community, to give us a hand in perfecting this product further. In true Coinmetro fashion, we have juicy rewards for all who contribute. Join our Bug Bounty quest if hunting them is your thing, and we will make sure to perk you up with a bag of digital assets.

It’s time to refine our product down to its finest details, so you can keep enjoying a superior trading and investing platform. Now you can earn crypto by reporting bugs and feedback to our team. By using this Typeform, you will be able to quickly send reports that our devs will be happy to analyze. For each report sent, we will award you up to 100 XCM.

If you are a more experienced user, you can potentially unlock a more serious Bug Bounty you can find HERE. It pays higher rewards but is for more experienced individuals, developers and white-hat hackers.

What to Keep in Mind:

• Be as detailed as possible to help us identify any issue.
• Reports must be relevant and reproducible.
• We don’t accept duplicate reports.
• Our reward decision is final.

What to Look For:

• Business logic issues
• Payments manipulation
• Remote code execution (RCE)
• Database vulnerability, SQLi
• File inclusions (Local & Remote)
• Access Control Issues (IDOR, Privilege Escalation, etc)
• Leakage of sensitive information
• Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)
• Any other vulnerability with a clear potential loss

We are grateful for the active participation of so many of you. To date, 108 users have already pointed out 56 bugs and have been rewarded a total of $8300. It just goes to show what we can achieve as a community when we work together!

Next Steps for Coinmetro Exchange

More innovation will be augmented into our exchange in the short term. Expect order form and header improvements, improved padding for better data display, and additional methods of customization. Also, we’ll be updating the UI to decrease clutter and simplify the platform’s overall look and feel.

The new spot exchange unlocks the next major product release – the Coinmetro Margin Trading platform.  The new platform will give you 5x leverage with high margin limits – potentially up to $250,000. The feature-rich product will allow you to view, manage and open positions with ease, taking advantage of advanced API access. In true Coinmetro fashion, the Margin exchange will have low daily fees! Fees on borrowed margin are calculated hourly and charged only once daily at 0.08%.
