What will the price of Bitcoin and major altcoins be in 2019? Will it remain the same? This is an inevitable question for every crypto enthusiast and investor. We’ve been in a bear market for quite some time now, but is there hope for the better? Many crypto experts have shared their perspective on whether Bitcoin goes (back!) up in 2019.
CEO of Galaxy Digital, Michael Novogratz expects Bitcoin to first reach $10,000 and then rocket to $20,000 and beyond towards the end of 2019.
The reason? Novogratz believes that more and more investors will be entering the scene. Sounds like a great start!
Surprisingly, Sonny Singh, CFO of Bitpay, stands the same ground and makes the same Bitcoin prediction, $20,000 by the end of the year.
Cryptocurrency analyst Ronnie Moas joins the 20k+ group, claiming that Bitcoin will reach about $28,000 next year.
Quant Strategist at Fundstrat, Sam Doctor, is more optimistic about Bitcoin’s price. His Bitcoin prediction is for $35,000 towards the end of 2019.
Tom Lee, CEO of Fundstrat, supports Sam’s prediction and also believes that Bitcoin has full potential to make its crypto recovery and reach $35k.
Who else but John McAfee and Fran Strajnar?
We bet most of you have heard McAfee’s predictions. John didn’t give an exact prediction for 2019, but made a comment about Bitcoin’s price in 2020, based on which the price of Digital Gold needs to be just around $170,000 in December 2019.
Fran Strajnar’s Bitcoin price prediction stands at $200,000 by January 2020, which means only one thing… Bitcoin has to do really well in 2019. Well, fingers crossed!
You may be wondering if there are any crypto believers who share less optimistic views in terms of crypto market recovery in 2019. Of course!
For instance, Arthur Hayes, CEO of BitMEX, thinks we’re in for a long period of bear market, including 2019. He believes it might even last till spring 2020!
Vinny Lingham, CEO of CivicKey, can’t place his prediction 100%, but he clearly doesn’t think that Bitcoin’s coming anywhere near $20,000 in 2019.
Founder of Morgan Creek Digital Assets, Anthony Pompliano is lingering in the crypto prediction limbo. According to Anthony, we’re looking at a bear market all the way up to Q3 2019 and might only see a positive development towards the end of the year.
So, will Bitcoin come back up? All we can say is that even the great minds have been wrong before. There are different opinions on cryptocurrency recovery and the upcoming year will show whose prediction is the most accurate. We still hope for the best and wish the crypto market to get well soon!
